We offer 3 self-catering lodges within beautiful grounds, each with either a private veranda or garden.

At South Forda Park we embrace a ‘laid back luxury’ approach, offering stylish accommodation with all the comforts of being at home. No need to leave man’s best friend at home either all our lodges are dog friendly. As our guest you are free to roam among the 9 acres of woodland and meadows we have to offer, including access to fish in our 2 x coarse fishing lakes. Alternatively, if fishing’s not your thing, you can choose to read a book with a glass of wine alongside the river!

 

Group bookings:

We feel that South Forda Park is the perfect destination for group & family holidays. We can accommodate 12 guests + babies across the 3 lodges, giving the perfect balance between spending quality time together as well as having your own privacy. Kingfisher: Sleeps 4. Newly renovated May 2017. 2 x dogs allowed. Private garden & veranda.

Woodpecker: Sleeps 4. Newly renovated May 2017. 2 x dogs allowed. Private garden & veranda.

Pengelly: Sleeps 4. Newly renovated May 2018. 2 x dogs allowed. Private Veranda. Wheelchair accessible.

 

Updates:

In 2017 we started our ‘Go Green’ phase with the introduction of solar panels to provide all lodges with electricity, this is now in place. You might not be able to see them, but it feels good to know we’re doing our little bit for the environment. 

In 2025 we have removed all oil boilers from our lodges and now only have renewable energy by means of Air Source Heat pumps on all lodges.  

We should also be able to open our new lodge which has 2 bedrooms and each one has an en-suite - the main bedroom includes a bath in the en-suite as well as a walk in shower.
