There is so much to see and do from walking to windsurfing. With a warmer climate than the rest of England, Cornwall has a number of botanical gardens and nature reserves.

You are spoilt for choice with something to suit all tastes which include: The Milky Way, The Big Sheep, The Eden Project (1 hour drive), The Launceston Steam Railway (open during summer only) and The Tamar Lakes (walking distance) where there is a variety of water sports and fishing. 

Several golf courses are in the area such as Holsworthy, Trethorne and Launceston. The Bude & North Cornwall Golf Club is located in the center of Bude surrounded by the town, coast and countryside. A very good golf course close by is Ivyleaf, which is open 7 days a week, no booking is required and welcomes non-members.
